Medical Trust College of Nursing Kochi Kerala

A few years back I enrolled for a medical trust college in Kochi, Kerala, India. I was fascinated with the atmosphere in the college and the overall atmosphere which gave a feeling of “home”. However, I must tell you that this college is not for everyone in India and hence it’s really important to check out the college beforehand. Trust college in Kerala has medical faculty, but the teaching style is totally different from the medical institutions in India.

This is because of the special atmosphere that is given to the medical students coming from overseas. Here, the teaching style is more like a home environment and the clinical environment is less. The other benefit of learning here is that the clinical instructors are really excellent in their field. So they teach the students all the skills required in their careers in a simple way and without giving much importance to the theory part.

As compared to other medical colleges, Kochi nursing course is fairly new and the number of students in the class is comparatively low. But still it is increasing day by day and is gaining popularity among the students from all around the world. Since this course is new and being offered by a well known institute, the competition is quite high for selecting the students. This results in giving better quality education to the students than other medical colleges in India.

The Medical College of Kochi has twenty-four medical faculty members. Besides this, there are ten medical assistants, eight medical hygienists, two dieticians and one psychiatrist. All these professionals have got great knowledge in subjects like microbiology, anatomy, physiology, psychiatry and many more medical subjects.

There are twenty-one teaching staffs who will be taking up the education of the students. These teachers have excellent knowledge about the subject and are also capable of imparting knowledge on the subject to their students. Other teaching staffs will be responsible for supervising the activities of the other teachers. This will ensure that the learning and teaching activities are well managed by the college.

Medical Trust College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCLE). This institution has also got affiliation with the American Association of Colleges and Schools of Nursing (AACN). This means that the students who apply for the course can address also expect to get good recognition and scholarships from the nursing schools and hospitals which they may otherwise not have. As part of their preparation for the graduation, the students are made to take a written exam which will be given by the centralized boards of examiners of medical colleges. The candidates who clear the exam and get a medical degree will get a certificate which is called the Medical Credentials.
